Overview

The "Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)" course is a practical occupational safety and health program designed to build structured competence in field construction safety, OSHA 1926 hazards, site inspections, contractor control, fall protection, scaffolds, excavations, cranes, and CHST exam preparation. The program combines technical knowledge, recognized international standards, local compliance awareness, operational checklists, and applied workplace examples.

Participants move from core concepts to practical application through case studies, templates, inspection tools, exercises, and scenario-based discussions. The course is suitable for organizations that want production-ready safety practices, stronger compliance, and clearer field implementation.

Program Duration: The course is designed over 4 days (32 training hours).

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain the CHST role in construction-site safety and contractor coordination.

  6. Prepare for the CHST examination through practical and knowledge-based review.
