Aligning KPIs with Strategy

Strategy Map, the strategic objectives model, and defining at least one indicator for each objective.

KPI Design Methodology

Design steps: identifying the objective, formulating the indicator name, defining the formula, determining the data source, frequency, owner, target, and benchmark.

KPI Definition Card

A standardized model for documenting each indicator using a KPI Definition Sheet, with practical application.

Data Requirements

Ensuring data availability and quality before approving the indicator.

Day 2: Practical Application and Dashboards

Avoiding Common Mistakes

Risks of unbalanced indicators, such as focusing on quantity without quality, manipulation, or selecting too many non-critical indicators.

Dashboard Design

Principles of effective visualization, use of colors and charts, and designing a balanced dashboard based on the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach.

Performance Measurement and Gap Analysis

Calculating the gap between actual and target performance, analyzing trends, and using indicators to support corrective decision-making.

Reviewing and Updating KPIs

Periodic review of KPIs on a quarterly or annual basis, updating target values, and eliminating indicators that are no longer relevant.
